Reach Platform

FIRST STEPS

We started with a branding approach that looked great for marketing but didn’t work for the product interface: its flat, high-contrast design wasn’t suitable for tools used over long periods. My team and I redesigned the UI with muted tones, an elevation system for interface elements, denser layouts, and a dark mode that developers loved.

DESIGN LIBRARY

We built a scalable design library to serve as the foundation for all our products. As more designers used it, however, the library became cluttered and elements were duplicated. To solve this, I established clear rules for using and maintaining the library, and organized the company-wide design files and components to keep everything consistent and orderly.

ONBOARDING

To keep our work moving smoothly, I developed an onboarding process that helped new designers get up to speed quickly, enabling them to understand our workflows and start contributing as early as their first day.

RESULT

The design library provided a set of “Lego pieces” that needed minimal tweaking, dramatically speeding up design iterations and implementation. It was such a success that even our Product Manager began using it independently to quickly showcase her ideas.
