Embr Waves
METHODS
User research, Prototyping, User testing.

GOAL
Embr Wave, developed by MIT alumni, is a bracelet that helps regulate body temperature for personal comfort. My team and I were responsible for designing a new feature to customize the heating and cooling modes, along with several smaller enhancements to improve the overall user experience.

SOLUTION
On the Embr Labs project, we combined user testing, interviews, and analysis of quantitative data to inform design decisions. Using these insights, we refined UI and UX solutions to maximize effectiveness.
Additionally, we collaborated closely with the remote development team, helping to address implementation challenges and ensure smooth delivery.

RESULT
The result of the efforts was consistent UI and UX improvements of the app, and the addition of several new useful features.

Embr has won numerous awards, including the AARP Innovation in Aging Award, Time Magazine's Best Inventions and the iF Design Award.
