Informational Architecture
8 Numberflies
8 Numberflies is an iOS mobile game with a flat design. In this project I was responsible for the graphics and interactions. My target audience was predominantly women, which is why the game came up very soft and elegant. Find more about the creation process.
SonoAnatomy
SonoAnatomy is a training tool for medical school students with gamification elements. The app helps students to learn how to recognize body tissues on the ultra-sound images, and define the right spot for nerve blockade shot. The app was developer at Playmatics.
The Recycle Game
My task was to create look&feel for the recycling game. The purpose of the game is to introduce the concept of recycling to Iranian teenagers. The game should combine traditional Middleastern and contemporary aesthetics. An additional challenge for the UI/UX design was the fact that this game is in Farsi, and is for an audience who reads from right to left.
Academics for the Future of Science (AFS) is an organization started by MIT post-grad and grad students. It's goal is to bring awareness among society and politicians to the issue of decreasing funding for scientific research. I'm responsible for creating an eye-catching content for the AFS. For the last two years, AFS was organizing multiple events, published articles and increased it's audience up to 7,000 scientists.
Booing: A Halloween Tradition, written by the amazing author Kendra Montante, is not only a children's book, but an entire Halloween kit that also has a toy inside. Along with making all of the illustrations and the cover for the book, I was also responsible for the typography, book layout, the design of the cardboard box, and helping with the toy design. My past experience with printing helped me to complete this project successfully.
Gizmo Games
Task: To create the characters, levels and UI design for the puzzle game Gizmos: Riddle of the Universe in a funny steam-punk style.
Process: I created the 3 main characters for the game that became so successful that their story continued in 3 more sequels: Gizmos: Spooky Adventures, Gizmos: Spirit Of The Christmas, and Gizmos: Interstellar Voyage. The game was first published by BigFish game portals in French and German in 2013. It was released in the U.S. market in 2014. Read more about Gizmos game series work process.
Peach the Duck
My role: Illustrations for four amazing children's books by Kamla K. Millwood.
I started with the creation of the Peach character, who is a little duck in preschool. She is a very active and joyful duck, who has a birthmark on her right wing in the shape of a peach.
A new project about Peach, the iOS game, is going to be released in summer 2016. For this game, along with the illustration, I'm also responsible for creating UI and the design of the entire app.
